At Keys Animal Care Center, our mission is to promote the welfare of animals through excellence in veterinary medicine, unprecedented medical standards, education, and service to our clients and community. We strive to achieve this while never losing sight of our patients’ and clients’ ever-changing needs. We aim to treat our patients and our clients as though they were our own family members. We provide the highest quality medical, surgical, and nursing care to our patients, superior service to our clients, and a safe and enjoyable environment for ourselves. An atmosphere of compassion, honesty, and respect is paramount to our goals.

The core values we have based our mission statement on are;  quality, compassion, integrity, attentiveness, education, and a fundamental love for animals.

 

Quality – We aspire to provide our patients with the highest quality care to prevent illness when possible, to prolong their health and well-being, and to treat the ailments that arise over their lifetimes.  We strive to offer friendly, prompt, considerate service to our clients, and to fully explain and discuss our plans and thought processes for your pet’s care.  We aim to educate and partner with our clients in the service of their companion’s health and comfort.

Compassion – A genuine consideration of the feelings, concerns, and needs of both our clients and patients is infused into every interaction, recommendation, and medical plan of our doctors and staff. This carries over to our personnel management philosophy as well, to help create a cooperative, friendly, family-like work environment for us all.

Attentiveness – From the reception desk to the boarding kennel to the doctor’s follow-up on each case, our aim is to acknowledge and recognize your needs and the needs of the beloved pets you entrust to our care.  We strive to answer your questions clearly and completely, to provide timely and complete service, and to maintain a positive and friendly attitude.  We are dedicated to creating a lasting bond with you and your companions, and to meet your individual needs through understanding, communication, and cooperation.

Education – We believe that knowledge and understanding are the building blocks for good and trusted decisions.  When it comes to the health and quality of life of our pets, it is vital to have respected and knowledgeable resources to help guide our plans, choices, and expectations.  At KACC, we make an unsurpassed effort to inform and explain our findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans, in order to empower you — our clients — to work with us in caring for your animal companions together as a team. We strive to continually educate ourselves by staying current and engaged in the most up to date continuing education resources in our field.

A Fundamental Love for Animals – Just about everyone says, “We care for your pets as if they were our own.”  At KACC, we take that mantra a step further.  We bring our own pets to work — sometimes to visit, sometimes for care — and we conscientiously note each detail of the care and attention that these animals receive.  The constant doting and the concern for every aspect of medical treatment and comfort provided to our personal pets and our clients' pets is recognized and mandated for every individual animal in our care.  We police ourselves and our teammates with the knowledge and awareness of exactly the kind of care we give our own and expect and demand that we provide that level of love to each pet entrusted to us by you.
